Bob Schwartz came to Tuscaloosa as an onsite Quality Liaison for a Tier One supplier back in  February of 1997 for the launch of the ML320. He immediately recognized the need for highly skilled quality inspection available in a timely fashion for suppliers to MBUSI.  Quality Sorting Services, Inc. was started in November of 1999 through our contacts at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Vance, Alabama.   Our President, Shirley Schwartz worked for one supplier for several months on an as-needed basis checking the parts that had been sent into the plant with suspected quality issues.  An Engineer at Mercedes-Benz asked if she would be willing to work for another supplier.  With our second customer she was able to hire a second person.  Today we have over 40 employees working at several locations throughout Alabama.  We have scores of customers from all around the world.  Our organization is ISO 9001:2015  since 2002.
